Singing while you work

Nehemiah 4:15

When our enemies heard that we knew of their plans and that God had frustrated them, we all returned to our work on the wall.

 

I love that God frustrates our enemies! I looked up the definition of frustrated and it means thwarted or disappointed. I love the fact that these men were working so hard to rebuild their wall and that they knew God was disappointing or thwarting their enemies. It is bad enough for another person to frustrate us, but God??

I can't even imagine how they must have felt they were running into a brick wall. After all, you may has well be running into a brick wall, if God is messing with you!!!

Don't you know they were singing and celebrating as they worked on the wall? They were able to complete the wall in 52 days. It tells us they worked with great determination. When God is on our side we are able to do anything, but when He isn't well we are disappointed and thwarted!!! So how have you been feeling? Things falling into place or does it feel like a brick wall???
