Ephesians 3: 17 – 19 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. Remember, the children's hymn… Deep and wide Deep and wide There's a fountain flowing deep and wide Deep and wide Deep and wide There's a fountain flowing deep and wide Hmmm and wide Hmmm and wide There's a fountain flowing hmmm and wide Hmmm and wide Hmmm and wide There's a fountain flowing hmmm and wide Hmmm and hmmm Hmmm and hmmm There's a fountain flowing hmmm and hmmm Hmmm and hmmm Hmmm and hmmm There's a fountain flowing hmmm and hmmm I loved this song…and I love these verses. Jesus wants to dwell in my heart and be settled in it! He wants it to be like the tree firmly rooted in the soil or the foundations of our homes firmly in the ground…don't you love it? When my home burned the foundation didn't have anything wrong with it…everything else was ruined, but not the foundation! It was strong; it weathered the fire, the water, the smoke and was settled…just like Christ is in my heart!! Deep and wide!!! Feeling so Loved, Debbie

Debbie, so it sounds as though we need to let the love of God be our foundation. What an awesome thought of it being what holds us up and what we let our roots go down deep into. How long, how deep, how wide is the love of God -it can't be measured!
The apostle Paul said that we cannot fully understand how great the love of Christ is for us. May the Holy Spirit awaken my soul to Christ's deep love for me today.
