1 Corinthians 3: 6-7 I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. Have you ever watched a new believer when the seeds are first planted? You watch the person attend bible study and the smiles, the joy in their hearts, and then the opening up to share and then before you know it God grew them into a whole new person? Well, this verse is for all of us! We may plant a seed, we may water the knowledge, but it is always God that causes the seed to root and spring up and out! It is absolutely the most beautiful transformation that takes place. When God causes a person to finally come to life, it is truly amazing. Watch a new seed take root and spring forth and give God the glory!!! Praising God, Debbie

Debbie, I loved that verse. It was reassuring to know that we only have to do our part whether it is planting or watering. We see in this verse how the work was divided between Paul and Apollos.
Sometimes I think we fail to do our part because we think it won't amount to much or that it is not very significant. But the planting and the watering are necessary for the growth to take place.
Praying that I do the planting and the watering that I need to do today!
