I am suppose to write a book review and honestly words fall short at this amazing book that God placed in my hands for such a time as this! Yes, words found in the book of Esther speak to the timing of this book. Connilyn writes a beautiful story about an amazing woman found during the Bible times found in Judges 3: 7-10. It is a fictional account of a woman named Tirzah and her bravery, which in turn provided hope for the Israelite people.
I read this book and felt so strongly that this is a message for God's strong women right now! Rise up! Be brave and let your light shine! Encourage people around you that God is in control and all of this virus and panic is not a surprise to God. Be smart, but find hope and know that God is in control. Let His light shine through you! Bravely listen to Him and His guidance through His Words and walk holding His Hand.
To help you order this book! You have a lot of time to read, so pick up your Bible and read it along with this fabulous book. I don't like to spoil anything about a good book, but know that you are doing yourself a favor by reading it or providing it to someone that is struggling right now. Tirzah was a light that shined in the home of the enemy. She walked right in and found a way to allow God's Light to shine, to allow Him to provide the way to help His people.
I was in the hospital this past week with my mom, while she was having some heart things addressed. I was turning pages so fast because I could not wait to see what Tirzah was going to do next. Also, know this is #4 of the books found in the book series Cities of Refuge and it might be my favorite. I hate to say that though, because I believe it each time I read one of Connilyn's books. It was so wonderful to catch up with past loved ones from pages that I have turned before and remember why I loved them, too!
I was provided this book by Bethany House to write a honest review and all I want to say is order it now! I hope this encourages you to look to God for guidance and to pass time in the upcoming times turn off your television and pick up God's Word and good books written by people that He is using to guide us.
