Celebrate!

Nehemiah 12:43
For God had given the people cause for great joy.
Indeed! Indeed!
Pause for a moment and think about the causes for joy in your journey…
Oh, I know we all have stuff in our life. Bad stuff, but we also have hope! Hope given to us by God by sending His Son to die for me and for you; we are able to have eternal life because of God! Nothing we have done to earn it, simply because of God’s Mighty Love for each of us we have everlasting life; so isn’t this a cause for great joy?
Shouldn’t we have a choir going from one side of town to the other? Shouldn’t we be celebrating and giving thanks always? In the verses today the people are back in Jerusalem and dedicating the wall. Celebrations are abounding the city! Don’t you feel them? They have returned to their homeland and they are happy.
We have Jesus; shouldn’t this be a joyful celebration?
