Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Today, reading from Galatians 3:23 reminded me of the old hymn Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know...

Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak until the way of faith was revealed.

Thank you Jesus!

Sinners all of us. Oh our sin may be different, but we are all sinners! Only way to Our Heavenly Father is through His Son and we must believe. We cannot earn it, we cannot be good enough, we cannot do anything Jesus did it all on the cross for each of us.

Sweet blessings,
Debbie

I liked what Paul said in Galations 2:21, "I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die."

When we try to say there is another way besides Christ we make light of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and there was nothing "light" about His suffering and death. Like Paul said that would be treating the grace of God as meaningless.
