I love this picture of this little girl in all out joy! What brings you to this point in your own life? When do you throw your head back, let your hair go, and swing your arms and dance with abandon? Well???
Zephaniah 3:17 speaks to this joy for me ~
For the LORD your God is living among you.
He is a mighty savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
With his love, he will calm your fears.
He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."
Wow, take that in for a moment!
Zephaniah is telling us that if ~ do you see the word "if"? If we allow God to be with us gladness is the result! We will experience joy because we are in relationship with God! We will be calmed by Our Savior, We will be sung over by Our Savior, He will delight over us!
All I can say is WOW! God truly loves each of us and it is our choice how much joy we experience with Him!
