God’s promise

Hebrews 6: 18 – 19

18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. 19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary

What wonderful words to be given to us. God's promise and his oath; what more do we need?

We all face storms in our journey. We know they are coming, but we know that we have safety in Him. During the difficult days I rest in the knowledge that I am able to run right into the arms of My Savior for His support and comfort.

Lately, I run grab the Word and see what message God wants to give me. Never ever am I disappointed because of God's promise given above. We need to hold to the anchor that keeps us sure and steady. God gives us grace and we beg for mercy…then we rest in knowing that Christ is our hope and we rest our sights on things above.

Resting in God's promises,

Debbie

Debbie, the beauty of that picture goes perfectly with the beauty of the Scripture this morning.

Our God is unchangeable. It is impossible for Him to lie. He is our refuge. He is our hope and that hope is strong and trustworthy.

Praying that I carry those words with me throughout the day.
