Hey, you in the mirror...

I am going to get a little off our reading today, because I felt lead to remind you that you are special!  Someone reading today needs to be reminded that the person looking back at you in the mirror is special!

I want you to try a little practice placing your name in scripture.  It is from Luke where Gabriel appears to Mary and tells her these special words ~ "Greetings, you who are highly favored!  The Lord is with you."  Now I want you to say these words to yourself and look in a mirror and repeat them over and over...Greetings, (your name) you are highly favored!  The Lord is with you!  Repeat it over and over until you remember that indeed you are so very special to the Lord!  He loves you!  He is with you!

You might even go a little further in Luke with these verses and place your name in the blank...
"Do not be afraid, Mary, (place your name here), you have found favor with God.  God wants each of us to know and claim He loves us!

Our reading today was so good too...
The reminder of love our neighbor as ourselves and The Good Samaritan story.  Wonderful reminders of who we are suppose to be and how we are suppose to act.

I leave you with these words today...
You are special!
You are loved!
You are never alone!

Sweet blessings,
Debbie
