Plans

Proverbs 19:21

You can make many plans, but the LORD'S purpose will prevail.

In February, I turned fifty and when I look back on my life to this point, this scripture speaks volumes. When I tried to make plans for my journey, they never would quite turn out. I never thought I would find my spot and so I continued to search. It was like I held a map in my hands with a flashlight wondering in the dark to find where I was supposed to be in this journey.

When I look back now, I see something different. I see God's hand redirecting my path HIS WAY. I get chills when I take the time to see how God worked and works in my life. I love it! So, plan but be willing for the LORD's purpose to redirect your path…after all, HIS plan is much better!

Today, I have a joy that is only because of the LORD placing in on this path that was HIS plan all along. The plans that feel right and you feel joy are where God intends for us to be or another way to put it that peace that passes all understanding…well if you have that you are in the right place!

Sweet blessings,

Debbie

Yes, His "plans will prevail." And you are right, "His plan is much better!" Hallelujah and Amen!

Debbie, maybe I am way off, but what I thought of was from James 5:13-15. "Now listen, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money. Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

Yes, the Lords plans are definitely the best.
