Depths of the ocean!

Micah 7:18-19

Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight I showing unfailing love. Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!

Thank you Father for your forgiveness!

When I read this early this morning, I was struck with God loves us sooooo very much! Otherwise, how could He be like a person that passes a pile of trash, but chooses to ignore all of it piled up? How could He choose to overlook our sins?

Over and over we fail Him, just like the people in these scriptures. We have our idols they may not look like the ones these people had, but we have them…after all it is anything you place before God! What is that for you?

God's amazing grace is the gift that we have trouble grasping. I wonder if it is because we have trouble with forgiveness ourselves, so it is hard to comprehend? I love this scripture, God delights in showing His unfailing love! WOW! He delights in giving His unfailing love to the people that fail Him continually and then the Word goes on to tell us that he tramples our sins under his feet and throws them to the depths of the ocean…Do you know how deep the ocean is? Buried away forever into oblivion ~ our sins! Thank you Father for loving me sooooo much! Thank you for the compassion that you extend to all of us.

Wow, the depths of the ocean ~ our awful sins lay at the bottom! Thank you Father for throwing them so far away from us that they are into oblivion! Yes, LORD!

Thank you for Your Unfailing, Amazing Love,

Debbie

Debbie, out to the side of that verse in my Bible, "Where is another god like you..." I wrote once again, there is none like Him.

In Micah 6:9, we are told to "Fear the Lord if you are wise!" Over and over we are told in the Word that fear of the Lord is wisdom. Praying that I am wise.
