Our Wonderful Jesus!

Isaiah 40:10-11

Yes, the Sovereign LORD is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes. He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry them in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

Absolutely, the utmost beautiful picture of Jesus with each of us! Yes, He will discipline. Yes, He will feed us. Yes, He will carry us when we are unable to walk. Yes, He holds us so close to His heart. What more could any of us want? NOTHING, He is all we need! I love the picture.

My father here on earth takes care of me much of the same way, but he lacks a little with the gently leading the family. He definitely takes care of us in other ways, but he was given the gifts of gentleness in birth. He is a strong man and who loves with his whole heart, but gentle is just not a huge part. When we were little he did have this down, but with age I think he is getting a little crustier. I love him dearly and know that he tried with his whole heart to be the best for us. He just didn't get all the gifts only Jesus got ALL the gifts to care for us! So, none of our fathers measure up totally. Some less than others, but we ALL DO HAVE A FATHER THAN EXEMPLIFIES EVERYONE OF THESE WONDERFUL TRAITS ~ JESUS!

So, today remember He is with you. He will take care of you. He is holding you close to His mighty heart! Share a laugh, Share a tear, Share the day ~ He will take each step with you!
