amazing beauty

The world and all that is in this world is truly amazing! When we sit down and think about the creatures, the nature, the people, all that exist God truly amazes us. He thought of every little detail. I still sit in awe when I think about God's amazing detail work with each of us and every other living creature and that is before we get to the natural surroundings around us.

I guess you might realize that God spoke to me this morning about Proverbs 30: 18-19 to paraphrase what about those amazing eagles that glides through the sky, or a snake that slithers on a rock, a ship that navigates the ocean or just how does a man love a woman? Give it some thought. Pretty amazing, isn't it?

The eagle flys across the sky we don't know which way they come from like we do a beast on the ground. One is able to discover more about animals that make tracks than a eagle in the sky. The same is true of a serpent on the rock...no trace and with no feet to creep across those rocks. (not my favorite creature to think about)
A ship leaves no mark once it sails across the ocean blue and yet it travels from point to point. Truly amazing when you think about early navigators before all these modern helps...God knows the hows and the whys of all the unknowns that we just wonder about, so...don't you want to know more about the great I AM?

The other was the love of a man and a woman. We are made so different and yet we love the other and only God allows this to happen. True love only happens with God's help never by man or woman alone or together only with God in the center holding the other two together will this amazing creation hold up!

Being a woman I must talk a little bit about Proverbs 31 in closing. I think the Proverbs 31 woman is another amazing creature. We all have gifts and we don't have all gifts, but God made each of us and He does not make junk...We don't do everything just right, but we strive to be the most we are able to be...Look at verse 30...Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman that fears the Lord will be greatly praised...Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder and it is fleeting. I read where Miss Sweden in 1951 was 5'7" tall and weighed 151 pounds. In 1983 Miss Sweden was 5'9" tall and weighed 45 pounds less. What makes us beautiful one year, may not be beautiful the next.

True beauty is the woman that remembers to call a friend that is hurting, that will turn the other cheek to the person that wronged her, that will walk that extra mile to help a friend..True beauty is from the inside out and not the other way around and don't let society tell you any different.

Many blessings,

Thanks Debbie, for reminding us to be amazed at God! We take so much for granted without pondering the greatest of the Creator or His creation. It is hard to take it all in. Praying that I will take time to be amazed today.
