Hope eternal

In whom do you place your hope?

The photo is of a garden tomb in the Holy Land during the spring. Isn't it beautiful? It spoke to me this morning when I was picking the photo to go with the text...It was like it spoke this is where you received your hope...this tomb because I didn't stay in this tomb or one like it...

The scripture that just grasp my heart today was from Isaiah 35:1-4 ~
Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses.
Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy!
The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon.
There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God.
With this news, strenghten those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.
Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you."

He did indeed!!!

Blessings,

Debbie, that passage tells us that even creation rejoices and cries out for its Creator. How much more do our souls cry out to the Lord, the One who breathed life into us?

Feeling thankful this morning that we have a Risen Saviour who saved us in so many ways!

P.S. Great article in the Shreveport Times about how you are serving the Lord through your Journey of Sisters Ministry.
