Hope found in the LORD!

Psalm 33

Please read this Psalm today! We are reminded of God's power, might, and love, to which we should be shouting praises of joy and thanksgiving! It was wonderful to think of the imagery in my small brain.

The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs.

We should be in awe! When we are allowed to gaze upon the stars at night, we should give thanks and honor to God! It truly is amazing!

The Psalm goes on to remind us that God looks down from heaven, sees us, he observes and remembers making our hearts and He understands what we do. Wow, this got my attention. We know this, but do we remember it. All day? All the time? What about the time we are short in the grocery store line, or we cut somebody off driving to work? Or the time we are just ugly, because we woke up that way?

I love this reminder in verse 20 ~ we put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone.

Yes, indeed our hope is in YOU alone LORD. We have You, so we have hope. The times when things look bad, we may read Your Word and be reminded of who truly is in charge. Who truly is taking care of us and who is going to protect us. Thank you Lord for your grace, love, creation, and for hope! Our Father is truly in authority. Praise the LORD!

Sweet blessings,

Debbie

Debbie, that picture is beautiful.
He is the God who creates. There is none other like Him!
