Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
I loved the picture!
We are like this little one grabbing his father's hand ~ we know to grab Our Savior's hand firmly to have hope! The only hope is Jesus and this we must proclaim!
It was so interesting to me the original meanings of words today - hold - "katecho" - keep secure
hope - "elpis" - the author of hope on foundation of eternal salvation, joyful and confident in expectatation of eternal salvation, without wavering meant firm...
So keep secure in the author of hopes gift of eternal salvation with joy and confidence and be firm in your belief! I like that!
Where do you find your hope? It is my prayer that you find it in Our Father in Heaven that sent His Son, Jesus to die for me and for you to have this gift of hope, of eternal life...Wow, share the gift with others! It is the season that we celebrate the gift of Jesus coming as a baby into this world dependent on humans like us to feed him, take care of him and Him to grow to die for us!
Hope, indeed we have hope!
Sweet blessings,
Debbie
