Today's reading so spoke to my heart! It is from Isaiah 30 ~ v. 15 Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. Isn't it true? We are so hard headed, we think I can do this...we are like the little engine that could...
we just keep trucking whether we are going the right way or not....
Until finally, just like verse 18...So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.....Are you waiting?
Do you need His love and compassion? He is gracious if you will just ask....
He will respond to your cries..Your own ears will hear the voice right behind you...
Rest in him and see what He wants to share with you!

Debbie, your writing this morning reminds of a song that I have been listening to by the Christian artists, Shane & Shane. It is from Psalm 145 8-9, "The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made."
The idea that the Lord is waiting
for me to ask HIm for His help is so comforting. Praying that I hurry to The One is waiting to hear from me today.
