Like a passing shadow!

In 1 Chronicles 29, David is praising God before a whole assembly of people and thanking God for everything. During the prayer, David tells us that we are here only for a moment, our days on earth are like a passing shadow, gone as soon without a trace. David a man that was king, that had all things he desired and more, was sharing that even with everything at his fingertips time goes by fast.

Are you living your life to the fullest? Are you enjoying every moment?

Do you waste time with worry? Do you ignore the people or the things that matter most?

David the man who had it all was still telling us that time is gone in a flash...He was also sharing that He was still praising God at the end of his life just like he had in the early days. He was still placing God first and foremost. Are we?

The family situations that David had with his children were always a huge part of his journey. He once again had to face the situation of one of his sons declaring that he was king. We realize that no family is without its troubles, but the thing that David teaches us is to consult God with the right decisions that need to be made.

Don't make any decision in the shadows by yourself ~ always keep in mind that God knows His plans for us!!!

Asking,
Debbie
