My Safe Harbor, What's Yours?

Don't you love the picture? I sometimes look for just the right picture for it seems hours. I know when I get that gentle nudge from the Spirit, this is the right picture. The right one that gives your entire thought on the message. I also hear the Spirit nudge me with "Debbie, I've always got your back."

The Psalm readings of the last few days have told me the same thing. God always is our rock, our refuge, our safe harbor, the list goes on and on. He is constantly reminding us that He alone is where we find what we need. Look at the scripture from Psalm 62 ~ -8 My help and glory are in God
—granite-strength and safe-harbor-God—
So trust him absolutely, people;
lay your lives on the line for him.
God is a safe place to be.

9 Man as such is smoke,
woman as such, a mirage.
Put them together, they're nothing;
two times nothing is nothing.

10 And a windfall, if it comes—
don't make too much of it.

11 God said this once and for all;
how many times
Have I heard it repeated?
"Strength comes
Straight from God."

12 Love to you, Lord God!
You pay a fair wage for a good day's work!

I just love the Word! We don't deserve anything, but God gives us everything! We definitely all hit a gusher, a windfall, a lottery whatever you want to call it the day that God said, I love you Debbie, the list just goes on and on to list every person on this earth's name. We don't deserve anything, but He gives us everything! Proclaim your love today for Your Heavenly Father and everyday from now on ~ first thing every day ~ Proclaim I LOVE YOU MY SAVIOR, MY GOD.

Loving My Heavenly Father,
Debbie

I am always so touched by the pictures you select. I agree that the pictures almost convey your whole message without a word. Verse nine is interesting, "two times nothing is nothing."
Why would we depend on ourselves at all? Loving the Word with you and depending on the ONE who is Dependable.

Thank you for the playlist that you shared with us. "While You Were Sleeping" is so moving. It moved me to pray for our country, The United States of America. I pray that we wake up to the deceptions of the enemy in our country and in our lives.
